Mike Gorringe
Mike was always interested in painting from a very early age and his skills were
noticed by his parents and teachers alike. Subsequently he was enrolled to the Art
and Design College at Twickenham during the period of 1964-
After these four years of further direction in the ‘Arts and Crafts’, he finalised his years within ‘Exhibition Design’, attained MCSD status, and then spent over forty years in the design of exhibition stands and the associated industries.
More recently Mike has moved to Melksham, Wiltshire, England and with the encouragement of family has picked up his brushes again, dusted off the cobwebs and produced what you see here, on this web site.
Reference is always sought after and in Mike’s daily life his camera is usually in his ‘pocket’ and a likely useful scene or subject is added to his computer records for later inclusion in a picture.
